Stillman Valley High School is a public high school in Stillman Valley, Illinois, which is near Rockford. It currently competes as a member of the Big Northern Conference. It also competes in Class A, the "small school" division, of the Illinois High School Association's (IHSA) State Championship Series.

Along with Byron and Winnebago, Stillman Valley's legacy in Illinois Scholastic Bowl stems from its roots in starting the Masonic Academic Bowl, then called the Northern Illinois Academic Bowl. Stillman Valley won the very first Masonic tournament in 1983 over rivals, Winnebago. The tournament eventually expanded to become a statewide tournament in 1990, where the Cardinals again appeared on the podium in 2001 & 2003. The early 2000's are perhaps the Cardinals' most iconic era as Kelly Tourdot, who went on to play at Illinois, led the team to win the IHSA Class A Tournament in 2003 under the leadership of Coach Christine Beem. Coach Beem was inducted into the IHSSBCA Hall of Fame in 2014.
