Chicago Christian is a religious school located in Palos Heights, Illinois, which is near Chicago. The team first became prominent in the Chicagoland Area around 2010 under the coaching of Stuart Culver, but he died of cancer in April 2013. The team finished 2nd at the 2012 IHSA State Championship Tournament. Culver was replaced by Christian Altena, who eventually coached the team to victory in the Class 1A 2019 IHSA State Championship Tournament. The top player on that team was Ben Fry.
