After winning the quarterfinal game, he was eliminated in the semifinals by eventual champion Claire Sattler by just one dollar. On the contrary, Uni was moved up to Class AAA for the Masonic Academic Bowl to achieve even field sizes among three divisions. Despite facing tougher competition, they won the Masonic Class 3A championship as well, continuing their streak of Masonic state titles. The team went on to place T39th at the 2022 HSNCT and 20th at the 2022 PACE NSC.
