The following is a list of records set by participating in the IHSA's State Championship Tournament in Scholastic Bowl. The IHSA does not keep individual records, and no scoresheets from tournaments are available for conversion data.
All of these matches are Class A matches. The lowest scoring Class AA match was a 1994 quarterfinal match, won by Quincy over MacArthur, 142-121. This is the 46th lowest scoring match in tournament history.
300 points or less, both teams, championship match
The only championship match with a differential under 10 points was the 2001 Class A Championship, which saw Warrensburg-Latham defeat Carlinville, 100-94.
10 point differential, one tournament match (since 2013)
In 2013, IHSA adopted national standards for scoring (excepting powers), making a 10 point victory the closest possible margin of victory in a match.
