2026-27 Top 100 Player Ranking
The Top 100 Player Ranking: 2026-27 Edition was a player ranking poll honoring the top 100 players in collegiate quizbowl, made ahead of the 2026-27 quizbowl season by Amogh Kulkarni. The third such player rating post authored by Kulkarni, it premiered on July 12, 2026, and concluded on October 9, 2026.
The ranking included humorous anecdotes which linked players to various topics from academic and popular culture. These anecdotes received a mixed reception. Chauncey Lo was removed from the Top 100 Player Ranking after it was revealed he had graduated from university, leading to his replacement by Geoffrey Chen. The rankings preceding Lo were subsequently reshuffled, decreasing by 1 to accommodate Chen at #100.
UConn rookie and former Columbia star Forrest Weintraub was ranked the top player of 2026-27, the first time in her career.[1]
