The Georgia Institute of Technology is a public university located in Atlanta, Georgia. Their quizbowl team has competed regularly since the formation of college quizbowl in the early 1970s, and almost certainly holds the record for most consecutive academic years of fielding a team in at least one intercollegiate academic quizbowl event, having done so since at least 1975.
